I USED TO HAVE PC CILLAN IN MY OLD COMPUTER AND LIKED IT

I BOUGHT A NEW COMPUTER AND THEY INCLUDED NORTON WHICH INTERFEERED WITH MY EMAIL AND SOME SETTINGS

I BOUGHT TREND MICRO SYSTEMS FOR MY NEW COMPUTER AND INSTALLED IT , IT IS RUNNING SMOOTHLY AND JUST WHAT I EXPECTED.

WHEN I OPEN MY COMPUTER IN THE MORNING I GET A REPORT FROM THEM AS TO THE ACTIVITY AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.

THE FIRST TIME I BOUGHT IT I HAD A VIRUS INVADING MY COMPUTER AND I HAD MACAFFE AT THAT TIME , WHEN I INSTALLED P C CILLAN THEY QUARANTEED THE VIRUS AND I COULD USE MY COMPUTER , THEN THEY FIXED IT OVERNITE AND THE NEXT DAY AND SINCE THEN ITS RUNNING GREAT.

I AM SURPRISED THAT THEY CAn do the service for such a low price .

I purchased this software after having it on my new computer for 1 year free. I have had trouble with it since I installed it in November. No one speaks English when you call technical support and there is never a supervisor available. Even though their technical support said they cleaned my computer, I still had trouble. After taking my computer in to the shop for a diagnostic check, they found over 100 viruses on my computer and now I have to pay for removing these viruses and restoring the speed to my computer! This software and technical support is useless!!!

I started to install this on my new laptop but it already has the new Norton 360 on it. Some programs will work together but this one wants to be the ONLY security program on the computer. My old Norton had expired on my old Dell desk top so I thought I’d try this on it.

First I had to remove Norton and Norton’s utilities and I didn’t really like that. Then I had to remove the McAfee site advisor and SpyWareBlaster, all before the install would run.

After I finally got it installed I don’t know how well it will work since I cant get my computer to run at all. I’ve tried booting it up several times. It will give me my desktop and short cuts but everything is locked up. I haven’t had time to try a safe start and see if I can do anything with it. I might have to take it to my computer guy to get it going again.

The only other thing I got to say is that I’m glad that I didn’t put it in my new laptop. I’ve got too much important data in this one to loose it. At least by trying it in my old desktop first it saved my laptop.

Update; I finally got my desktop computer that I installed this in to boot up. I don’t know where this program went but it isn’t there and when I tried to install it again the install was stopped. It said that the one installation that was allowed from this disc had already been used. All that I can say about it now is that I’m sure glad that I didn’t have to pay for this because I would be very upset about it if I had and I would be demanding my money back.

I recently had the chance to review Trend Micro Antivirus and found it to be an adequate antivirus.

The program to be very user friendly and easy to install.

And it seems to work well. Another plus is the fact that running the program doesn’t slow your computer down.

But honestly this isn’t a program that I would buy just for the fact that it can only be used on one computer.

I have used a few Trend Micro programs in the past and have a good opinion of the company as a result. This was no exception. I have tried some AV and/or spyware programs (e.g. MacAfee) which made several other programs non-functional and eventually had to be removed from my computer to maintain my sanity. So far, the Trend Micro AV+AntiSpyware has not created pandemonium among my other programs, and it appears to do what it is supposed to do.
